A+. I couldn’t love this pick more. Lamar Jackson is one of the most exciting picks the Baltimore Ravens have ever made. I think Jackson has a chance to be a superstar. He has everything you need to be successful at the quarterback position. He has arm talent and he is going to be a better quarterback than many analysts think. Jackson is just a special talent. The fact that the purple and black got such a player who has a chance to be the face of the franchise for years to come, is incredibly exciting. This is a move that took real guts. This is a move that means the Ravens are not messing around. The Ravens found their next franchise quarterback for better or worse. That is exciting.. QB. Baltimore Ravens. LAMAR JACKSON

Whatever you think about the picks the Ravens made tonight, it’s hard to call them anything but aggressive. Even trading back was kind of aggressive. The Ravens were actively trying to make the draft packed with picks the best way they could. They allowed themselves to take a shot at the end of the first round. They needed to get a play-maker for the present moment, and secure decent day 2 draft position. Then they could find the leader of a bright future in Lamar Jackson. Baltimore should be proud of the Ravens. This is a team that went for it on Thursday night.
