Michael Gallup-WR Colorado State

Even though the front office passed on all the wide receivers that went in round one, and the ones that will go in round two. They have a chance to grab one of the better wide receivers in this draft. A player, who I believe has the highest ceiling. If the Colorado State wide receiver just happens to be there and slips to pick 65, Ozzie shouldn’t be able to turn in the card with his name on it fast enough.

Gallup lead the Mustangs with 100 receptions and over 14 hundred receiving yards in 2017. Also averaging 14 yards a catch and bringing in 7 touchdowns. It would be a blessing if he somehow got out of the second round and was around when Ozzie is on the board once more. Realistically he’s everything the Ravens offense has been missing since they traded away Anquan Boldin after the Super Bowl in New Orleans. He plays a lot bigger than he is listed. He has a go up and get it type of mentality and is great at splitting double coverage’s. A great first step and a crisp route runner as well. The Ravens previously met with Gallup during the draft process. So, hopefully, if he does end up slipping into the third round he will be on Ozzie and Eric’s radar.

Gallup would be a great fit and potentially a future WR1 on the Raven’s depth chart and could be the primary target for Flacco this year. And a deep threat weapon in the future for Lamar Jackson. Let’s hope Ozzie doesn’t trade out, if Gallup does happen to be there.
