The Ravens had three picks in the sixth-round of the 2018 NFL draft. Here’s a look at the new prospects heading to Baltimore.

It’s been a very busy Day 3 of the NFL draft for the Ravens as they came into Saturday with seven total picks. This is what they ended up with from the sixth round.

Pick No. 190: Deshon Elliott S, Texas

Safety wasn’t an immediate need for Ravens given Tony Jefferson and Eric Weddle but Deshon Elliott seems to be a great late-round addition. The Texas product finished with 76 total tackles and six interceptions as a junior last season, earning first-team All American honors. The Ravens selected Chuck Clark in the sixth-round last year and he earned valuable playing time down the final stretch of the season. Elliott is a physical safety that will likely fight for a special teams role this season for a team that values that area of the ball more than others. Despite a heavy offensive draft, the front office isn’t being shy about adding secondary talent. Given the injury problems the Ravens have had in that area, you can never have enough depth.

Pick No. 212: Greg Senat OT, Wagner

Like wide receiver, the Ravens double-dipped at offensive tackle. This isn’t surprising given the lack of depth at the position heading into a new season. Senat is the epitome of the small-school player that Ozzie Newsome loves to target. He was a multi-sport athlete at Wagner and played all four years on the basketball team. He joined the football team his junior season and started 22 games over two years. It’s a developmental pick and the Ravens have done it before at the position with De’Ondre Wesley and Stephane Nembot. Senat is certainly athletic but thin for the tackle position at just 302 pounds.

Pick No. 215: Bradley Bozeman C, Alabama

Sooner or late we figured Newsome would add a center into the mix. Losing Ryan Jensen left Matt Skura as the main replacement candidate on the roster and now he’s got competition. Bradley Bozeman was a unanimous second-team All American at Alabama and started 31 games for the Crimson Tide. At 6-5, 316 pounds Bozeman has similar size to Skura. We can joke about Ozzie Newsome’s unheralded love for Alabama players but this fills a need heading into training camp.

Ozzie Newsome has just one pick left to make in his final draft as the general manager in Baltimore. It’s been quite the ride these past three days and the Ravens will end Saturday with 12 new players to the 90-man roster.
