1. Joe Flacco could have a great year:

The narrative going into the season is that Flacco is potentially on his last year with the purple and black. The future is waiting behind him and the Ravens have a stomach-able out after the season. What happens if Flacco has a great season though? Flacco has more weapons than he’s had in quite a while. Flacco came into the last season hurt, but turned it up a bit when he was feeling better. The veteran quarterback could theoretically have a great season.

If Flacco had a great season it would put the Ravens in a pickle. It would make the move to Jackson in 2019 harder to accept. However it would also make the Ravens once again bet on Flacco. The last time they did that, Flacco got a huge contract and under performed. Flacco had the run of his life in a playoffs that headed into a contract year. What if the same thing happens? What if Flacco has the best year of his career?

Joe Flacco could have a great season and that could make things very interesting. The better Flacco plays the less pressure is going to circle about the Jackson era. This is something that could make for an interesting season, and a captivating offseason.
