3. Bronson Kaufusi

I have to admit, I was wrong about Kaufusi. The former BYU Cougars standout has given the Ravens next to nothing. How does a 6’7″ 285 pound man with all the physical skills needed, end up being a bust? At the end of the day, Kaufusi just hasn’t delivered anything in the way of production and the Ravens have too much talent to be patient.

Kaufusi missed his first season because of a training camp injury. In 2017 he only managed to be in on five tackles. He’s a player that hasn’t gotten much time on the field, but in the NFL playing time is earned. Kaufusi just isn’t getting the job done. Kaufusi only played in three games. The Ravens took a shot on Kaufusi, a player with incredible measurables and good production at the collegiate level. I’m not even mad, but it’s looking like a bad pick.

With Kaufusi, technique is probably the biggest problem. He’s lanky and tall which can be a positive, but he has to keep his pad level lower than he has. He never really got acclimated to the NFL game and now there is no promise that he could develop into the kind of player his measurables suggest.
