Joe Flacco:

The only way a Fantasy Football player should end up with Flacco is if he or she really holds off on quarterback to stockpile other positions. Still, Flacco is not a Fantasy compatible player. Flacco rarely goes off for a big game. Flacco had no games over 300 yards in the 2017 season. In 2018 he had three 300 yard games. What makes matters worse is that Flacco is prone to absolutely dreadful performances. He had a game last year with only 28 passing yards. Against the Chicago Bears he had only 180 passing yards and two interceptions.

Flacco is an inefficient passer, which is hard to deny at this point. He averaged 5.7 yards per pass attempt last year which is the epitome of dink and dunk football. Flacco should be a better Fantasy Football option this year, because he has more talent around him. He still shouldn’t be near the top of your list. Flacco also isn’t a huge touchdown scorer. He had 18 touchdowns in 2017 and only 20 in 2016.

Flacco just isn’t a good option for Fantasy Football. In summation he has a few clunkers per season and very few moments where he is on fire. He is an inefficient passer and he probably won’t lead the league in touchdowns, or come close to it. Flacco can have a decent year and still not be the option you want under center for your Fantasy Football team. That is not a knock on Flacco. He should have a decent year, he just isn’t going to move the needle for your Fantasy Football team.
