Close battles are almost a given:
Look, it’s Ravens-Steelers and it’s going to come down to the end of the game. It always does, or at least it feels that way with all the close finishes these teams have had. The moral of the story here is that both teams have a chance to come up on top and it depends on how things go. The Ravens can contain the Steelers superstars but superstars being bottled up is too challenging to be a given. The Ravens can run all over the Steelers defense, but Baltimore having horrible offensive outings against the Steelers isn’t out of the question.
For the first time since 2014 these teams are pretty even when it comes to talent. The Ravens have a chance to be a playoff team and they can beat the Steelers on any given Sunday. The Ravens have an improved secondary. If Humphrey shows to be a number one cornerback this year it wouldn’t be surprising in the slightest. The Ravens defense is loaded with talent. The Steelers offense has too much talent, seriously they’re overloaded with weapons.
Next: Baltimore Ravens: 5 goals for the 2018 season
The end result here is that no team has a definitive edge. The Ravens are once again chasing the demons from previous outings against the Steelers. If the Ravens can use the emotion of the rivalry to their advantage, they have a shot. These teams have answers for their counterparts best players. In the end we’ll have to see how it ends up. Baltimore might just have to out tough the Steelers, making it a classic season for AFC North football.
