Baltimore Ravens Post-OTAs 53-man roster prediction
By Joe Schiller
OTAs are over as mandatory minicamp awaits next week. Here’s a look at my current 53-man roster prediction for the Baltimore Ravens.
By way of an infraction with the NFL’s Collective Bargaining Agreement, the Baltimore Ravens ended OTAs two days earlier than expected. Nevertheless, players and coaches have had eight days to practice and get situated in the first real team practices of the offseason. The schedule ramps up with mandatory minicamp from June 12th-June 14th, then a break before training camp.
The Ravens will start their training camp a week early because of the annual Hall of Fame game on August 2nd. Position battles and depth charts are hard to determine at this point but we’ll begin to have a better idea of the roster makeup once players begin to compete with full pads.
I provided my 53-man roster prediction following the NFL Draft and I’m back again with another installment following the conclusion of OTAs. Once again, it’s still too early to predict anything but slowly and surely, the roster is coming into form.
