Here are three Baltimore Ravens who could reach the superstar realm in the 2018 season:

3. Hayden Hurst

The Baltimore Ravens drafted Hayden Hurst for a reason; Joe Flacco needs a reliable tight end to lean on. There is a lot of hype surrounding Mark Andrews. He can play in the slot and all that good stuff, however Hurst is going to be the Ravens go to guy. Hurst is going to be the tight end that Flacco connects with over the middle of the field over and over again. Providing Hurst stays healthy he could be one of the most featured players in the offense.

Dennis Pitta had over 80 receptions coming back from two hip injuries, a point I bring up all the time, because it shows the Ravens desperate need for a tight end. Hurst should have at least 60 receptions this season. Hurst’s versatility is going to keep him on the field an awful lot in 2018. This is a rookie that the Ravens expect to get something out of. There was a lot of talk about the Ravens reaching on Hurst. With the shadow of picks like Breshad Perriman and Matt Elam hanging over them, the Ravens want Hurst to work out desperately.

Hurst is not a rookie who the Ravens will ease into the action. He is going to be the starting tight end for the purple and black on day one. With all the talk about Andrews being a tight end that will line up in the slot, the Ravens Flock needs to remember that Hurst can line up anywhere. Hurst has a big 6’5″ frame and he’s a tough coverage assignment for any NFL defensive player. Hurst is needed to perform and he has the tools to do it.
