Losers

Breshad Perriman

As Chris Moore makes strides, Breshad Perriman continues to struggle with drops, per ESPN’s Jamison Hensley. Perriman is a roster bubble player after the Ravens declined his fifth-year option and so far it seems he’s failed to make his case to be on the 53-man roster Week 1. He’s due just $2.7 million this season, a number that won’t hurt the Ravens financially if the two sides part ways. At this point, that may be the best direction.

Kamalei Correa

The Ravens’ kryptonite in the NFL Draft has been second-round linebackers. Kamalei Correa is the prime example and he’s struggled to develop through two seasons. However, he’s not entirely to blame as the Ravens have shuffled him back and forth between inside and outside linebacker. Even if Correa is more comfortable and productive at his normal position on the outside, there’s already a wealth of young talent on the depth chart.

Jaylen Hill

Jaylen Hill was one of the undrafted standouts last season but struggled to find the field during the regular season due to injury. His rookie campaign was cut one game short after suffering a torn ACL in the team’s Week 16 win over the Indianapolis Colts. Hill continues to rehab and as a result, players like Tavon Young have returned. By the way of timing, Hill hasn’t been able to compete and it’s hurt his roster chances.
