3. Matt Judon

Matt Judon has a chance to be a stone cold superstar. He’s going to be the most ferocious pass rusher on the team in 2018. Yes, Terrell Suggs is still here, and in great shape, but Judon is going to emerge as the leader of this defense. Judon is a young star entering the best seasons of his career. This is his time to shine. He got into the league and he felt his way into a starting job. Now, Judon has a chance to be a double-digit sack machine.

If Judon’s production leaps the way that it very well could, he will be in the defensive player of the year conversation. The Ravens have a lot of pass rushers, but Judon proved last season that he is one of the most consistent outside linebackers on the roster. Tyus Bowser and Tim Williams still have to grow into the job. Judon is entering his third season, and he’s ready to shine. Suggs is probably going to have another good season, though he may tire out a bit down the stretch. Judon is going to be fresh for 16 games.

Judon could be the most exciting player on the field. In the early season, Suggs is going to draw a lot of attention from blockers. Judon will be able to create some highlight reel sacks and forced fumbles while the opponents are focusing on Suggs. When the NFL realizes that it’s a pick your poison kind of deal, and that both players are hard to stop, it could become the best pass rushing duo in the league.
