5. Some of the Ravens draft picks looked very strong

The Ravens draft picks looked strong in this game. Lamar Jackson had his struggles, but he did hook up with Hayden Hurst for a touchdown. Hurst made a couple of tough catches, and showed himself to be a good blocker. Orlando Brown Jr. looked good. The Ravens helped the offense a great deal in the 2018 NFL draft and their rookies showed that.

The defensive rookies got some action as well. Kenny Young had a nice stop on a run play that halted a Bears’ drive. He read the play well, he made the tackle in the backfield. While the stats don’t show much for DeShon Elliott, he looked good on Thursday night. A lot of young players who aren’t rookies any longer showed up big as well. Chuck Clark had an interception and we already talked about Correa.
