The Baltimore Ravens beat the Chicago Bears 17-16 in the Pro Football Hall of Fame Game. Who saw their stock rise?

6. Chuck Clark

The Ravens love Chuck Clark because he is a good tackler and he plays well on special teams. Early in this contest he showed his ball skills with an interception. Clark saw a tipped pass and he positioned himself perfectly to make the play. If Clark shows that he can make plays on defense, he may get more chances on the field. Clark provides value to the Ravens as a special teams player. He could be positioning himself to be a strong backup to Tony Jefferson. If he continues to shine throughout the preseason, don’t be surprised if he gets some meaningful reps on the defense when the score counts.

5. Hayden Hurst:

Hayden Hurst caught a touchdown pass from Lamar Jackson, which is a pretty big deal. Hurst proved that he could do everything the Ravens drafted him to do. He was a solid blocker and he caught the passes thrown to him. Hurst ended up with three receptions for 14 yards and that impressive touchdown.

Hurst out-shined every one of the Ravens tight ends, by a long shot. Nick Boyle had one grab for 12 yards but he also had a dropped pass. Boyle didn’t do much to impress, while Hurst pulled in some really tough passes. Boyle was listed as the top tight end on the Ravens depth chart, but if Hurst keeps delivering in the preseason that could change.
