Winning is a fantastic feeling, and Ravens fans should be happy to celebrate wins, even in the boring preseason we can’t wait to end.

The Ravens have missed the playoffs each of the last three seasons. That’s a big, fat bummer, and nothing I can say in this article will convince you otherwise. However, when we look for silver-linings, we can be proud of the fact that the Ravens are undefeated in the preseason dating back to 2015.

That’s right, the Ravens are 10-0 in their last ten preseason appearances.

I can already hear you moaning and crying out “who the heck cares?” but hear me out… Winning is still a fun feeling, no matter the circumstances. Admit it, you secretly love winning preseason games. I know I do. Simply put, winning is a satisfying feeling. Seeing a team you’re so passionate about continuously winning is unique; it’s not something every can claim to witness.

Besides the preseason, the Ravens are a winning franchise with a 190-161-1 all-time record. Yes, it is a bummer that we’ve missed the post-season lately, especially in the heart-breaking fashion it’s been dealt. However, we, as Ravens fans, need to truly appreciate how blessed we’ve been with winning teams year-in and year-out. After the horrific 2015 season, the team’s last losing record was in 2007. Since then the Ravens are 94-66, all under Head Coach John Harbaugh.

With a Super Bowl title within the last ten years, and two in 22-years as a team, that’s a very solid accomplishment. Numerous playoff appearances as well as Hall of Fame players consistently on the roster have spoiled us as fans. We constantly want more, but we don’t appreciate what we have.

We are absolutely entitled to be upset with how the team has played lately. We should’ve made the playoffs in both 2016 and 2017, but we didn’t. There’s no use in crying over the past. 2018 is upon us and we have so much to look forward to this year. Joe Flacco has all sorts of new weapons and C.J. Mosley will once again captain what should be another dominant defense.

So do yourself a favor, Ravens Flock, and enjoy a win when we get one. Yeah, preseason is boring and doesn’t mean much, but that doesn’t mean you can’t cheer on your team and enjoy that “W” at the end of the day. 10-0 in the last ten preseason games… let’s keep it going!
