The Baltimore Ravens take on the Indianapolis Colts this Monday night.

  • The Ravens third preseason game is typically the dress rehearsal game. Because of the Hall of Fame Game, that will come next week.
  • Last week the Ravens gave their starters a drive on both sides of the ball. The starters will still see a reduced workload, but they could see more action in the first quarter.
  • The Colts hosted the Ravens for joint practices this week. On Saturday fights broke out.
  • The Ravens come into this game 2-0 in preseason play. Their 33-7 victory speaks to the depth on the training camp roster.
  • The Colts are coming off a 19-17 win against the Seattle Seahawks
  • Andrew Luck looked sharp in his long awaited return. Against the Seahawks, Luck went 6-9 for 64 yards.
  • Indianapolis has three young quarterbacks behind Luck. Jacoby Brissett took over last season. Brad Kaaya is a rookie from Miami. The other player in the equation is Phillip Walker.
  • All eyes will be on the Ravens quarterbacks. Fans want to see Flacco continue to look sharp and for Lamar Jackson to keep getting better. There’s a lot of pressure on Robert Griffin III coming into this game. He’s played well and has a real shot at making the team.
  • There is no QB controversy between Flacco and Jackson but since the game is on National TV, expect that story-line to be played up regardless on the ESPN broadcast.
  • Lamar Jackson has a impressive highlight reel already but his efficiency is brutally low. His passer rating is 54.5 coming into the game with the Colts.
  • Former Seahawk, Robert Turbin leads the Seahawks in rushing through one game. A couple names to look for in the Colts backfield are Marlon Mack and Jordan Wilkins.
  • The Colts focused on fixing the offensive line this offseason. They drafted two good guards in Quenton Nelson and Braden Smith. In the first preseason game the Colts gave up three sacks, including one to Andrew Luck.
  • The Ravens outside linebackers have been taking turns showing off this preseason. Kamalei Correa had three sacks and a pick in the Hall of Fame Game. Terrell Suggs, Matt Judon and Tim Williams all have a sack in the exhibition contests.
  • Gus Edwards leads the Ravens in rushing this preseason. He has worked himself into the argument for the 53 man roster.
  • Breshad Perriman leads the Ravens in receptions and receiving yards through two games. It will be interesting to see if he keeps it up. Perriman is making it a conversation rather than an automatic cut.
