Reason 2: Offensive Line Questions that need an answer

Will the Ravens start Bradley Bozeman at center. With the Ravens offensive line depth, he has been considered a roster bubble player, however starting isn’t out of the question for him. Matt Skura hasn’t played great this preseason and Bozeman has been mildly impressive. His playing time will be very interesting on Thursday Night. If the Ravens play him a lot, they could be giving him a chance to prove himself, one last time. If the Ravens don’t play him much, it pretty much means he’s got a spot on the team locked up. This is the roster bubble bowl. Playing time can be a blessing and a curse.

The Ravens offensive line is a place where the roster really isn’t set. Other than the top guys, the Ravens offensive line is unproven and incredibly young. The Ravens don’t have a lot of depth at offensive tackle. It will be interesting to see if Orlando Brown Jr. plays at all. Many have suspected that he has the starting right tackle job locked up by now. There is no doubt that he makes the team so it doesn’t make sense to play him.

Players like Jermaine Eluemunor and Nico Siragusa don’t have roster spots locked up. Harbaugh is going to be forced into some tough cuts and it’s inevitable that one or two of those cuts will be a shocker. The offensive line gives fans something to watch in a game that everybody just wants to get through.
