5. The Ravens start out 1-0

I have the Ravens starting out with a victory, which you may have realized after the first four predictions. This looks like a game the Ravens should have no problem winning. This means that the only way the Ravens are going to lose the contest is if they don’t play their best football. If the Ravens fall to the Bills, there will be more blame on the Ravens than credit going to Buffalo.

The Ravens defense is going against a team that just doesn’t have the goods. This game should serve as a good warm up for the Ravens defense. The Ravens have to face the Bengals, Broncos and Steelers in the next three weeks. John Harbaugh can’t get caught with his team looking ahead to weeks 2-4. That said, this game is not supposed to be one of the harder games on the schedule. If the Ravens lost this game, it would be a dooming statement from the team.

Nathan Peterman doesn’t scare me. The Ravens defense should roll. It also seems like the Ravens offense has something to prove. This has 1-0 written all over it. The Ravens have no excuse in this game.
