Final thoughts:

This is a winnable game but the Ravens have to avoid certain problem areas. If the Ravens can’t stop the run on defense they can’t win this game. The Ravens cannot allow the Broncos pass rush to be the story of the game. The match up problems in this game are on both sides though. The Ravens defense does best when they create turnovers and get sacks. There will be chances to do that against the Broncos. Keenum’s biggest flaw is that he is over aggressive. The Broncos are 2-0 after two close games, but if Keenum protected the ball better, they may have won more convincingly.

This is a close game that could go either way. The reason the Ravens should pull away with this though, is that they are the desperate team. Baltimore needs this victory because a 1-2 record would be a huge blow to this team. The Ravens can get back on track with a win or they can head into Heinz Field with two straight losses and a bucket full of doubt. That’s why this game is as big as a week 3 game can get.
