Baltimore Ravens: What we can look forward to the rest of the season

A 2-1 start to the season for the Ravens has been an intriguing case study, but there remains plenty of optimism moving forward for Baltimore.

The Baltimore Ravens went from a dominant outing against the lowly Buffalo Bills, to a devastating loss to division rivals Cincinnati Bengals, to a rebound performance against the up-and-down Denver Broncos. Now sitting at 2-1 and tied for first place in the AFC North with the Cincinnati Bengals (who own the tie-breaker over Baltimore), the Ravens control their own destiny moving forward. What they do with it is up to them.

There is certainly plenty of room for optimism, as this team has shown all sorts of new strengths we haven’t seen before. This isn’t a flawless squad, of course, but there have been plenty of bright spots to get you excited. The best part is these bright spots are scattered throughout the team. No, it isn’t solely resting on the defense, instead we’re seeing a complete team effort from these guys.

The offense is putting up points and capitalizing in the red-zone and the coaching all around has been solid. The defense is the defense, and while the special team’s could use a boost in the return game, we all know Justin Tucker can hit it from anywhere on the field, giving the Ravens that much more of an advantage over other teams.

So, now moving onto to week four and a Sunday Night Football match-up against the Pittsburgh Steelers, what should we be looking forward to?
