A chance to get ahead in the division:

Before the team’s week ten bye week, the Ravens will have three division games, including next Sunday night’s match-up against the Pittsburgh Steelers. After week four’s match up in Pittsburgh, the team will stay on the road to take on an improved Cleveland Browns team. Right before Baltimore’s bye week, Pittsburgh will come to Charm City to wrap up the series for 2018. And then after the bye week, the Cincinnati Bengals come to town. Perhaps this time around will be the revenge game we’ve all been hoping for.

So to recap, the Ravens have four division match-ups between week four and week 11. This presents the team with plenty of opportunity to get ahead in the AFC North. The Ravens haven’t won the division since 2012, the same year the won the Super Bowl. Obviously, winning your division doesn’t guarantee you a Super Bowl berth, let alone win, but it’s certainly important in the playoffs to host at least one home game.

These division games have been what’s cost Baltimore playoff spots over the last few seasons. With heartbreaking plays such as Antonio Brown’s incredible extension on Christmas day or the Bengals 4th and 12 conversion, the team should be starving for redemption. These next few weeks will provide exactly that, and hopefully this time the Ravens will come out on top.

The 2018 Baltimore Ravens have been a treat to watch thus far in 2018. Moving forward, Ravens Flock should have plenty to look forward to. As long as the team is ready to step up to the plate and make solid contact, this could be a fun season to watch and could result in a playoff berth, or maybe even a division title.
