Baltimore Ravens Report Card: Grading win over the Broncos

Grade. LINEBACKERS . B. The first quarter was a frustrating time for the Ravens defense. The Emmanuel Sanders reverse saw Terrell Suggs make the mistake of not keeping outside contain. The Broncos run game was a little too effective in the beginning of this game to give out an A. That said, the pressure of the edge changed the story of this game. Case Keenum struggled once Terrell Suggs and Za’Darius Smith started exploding into the backfield at will. <p>The most exciting thing here is that Kenny Young has displayed all the markings of a star linebacker. Baltimore was without C.J. Mosley and the defense had as impressive of a game as you can have. The speed the Ravens linebackers have is starting to show.</p>. Group

A. Case Keenum only passed for 192 yards in this game, which means the secondary did their job. With Emmanuel Sanders, Demaryius Thomas and Courtland Sutton to cover that is some impressive work. The Ravens should feel encouraged with their secondary as they go on to battle the high voltage attack of the Pittsburgh Steelers.. Group. Grade. DEFENSIVE BACKS

C. Justin Tucker is the AFC special teams player of the week, but the special teams performances in this game were weak. The Ravens saw the Broncos block a punt and a field goal. Morgan Cox struggled as a long snapper, which is something we haven’t seen for a long time. Sam Koch had a good game with two punts inside the 20. The kicking talent on the Ravens salvages the grade, in an other wise poor performance.. Group. Grade. SPECIAL TEAMS
