It’s the game that means a little more than the rest of them, and the Ravens are used to it being in enemy territory.

The Ravens need to get off to a good start, however that’s not enough. Last year they had a fourth quarter collapse as Ben Roethlisberger orchestrated a comeback win for the Steelers. The Steelers have a potent offense and in this series momentum is a big deal.

The Ravens have to take control of the game. Once they have the momentum, they have to aggressively keep it. The Ravens have to silence the crowd and keep the yellow towel bearing fans from a frenzy. John Harbaugh needs to have this team ready and he ha to keep them attacking all night long.

The Ravens defense has to slow the Steelers offense down and they have to frustrate Roethlisberger. The Ravens may be able to put up some points on the board but if Roethlisberger has one of his best games, it will be tough to walk away with a win.

This will take a total team win. Special teams, which has been a surprising weakness of the Ravens this season, is also crucial. Morgan Cox had an off game against the Denver Broncos and the Ravens saw a blocked punt and a blocked field goal. That can’t happen against the Steelers. The Ravens replaced Janarion Grant, who fumbled twice as a punt returner. White has to bring reliability to the position.
