Baltimore Ravens vs. Pittsburgh Steelers: What is on the line
2. A chance to put the Steelers in a bad spot:
The Ravens have a chance to get the Steelers in a bad situation. If the Ravens win the Steelers will finish the first quarter of the season with a 1-2-1 record. If the Ravens win, Baltimore will look like a legitimate threat to win the AFC North and will have a boastful 3-1 mark. If the Steelers lose this game they will be looking way up to the Ravens and possibly the Bengals in the standings. This would be a nightmare for a Steelers team that is desperate to prove that they got the train back on the tracks.
1-2-1 with all the drama that Pittsburgh has faced this season would be an almost impossible pit to climb out (see what I did there). The Ravens have a position to put the Steelers in the same kind of hurt they faced on Christmas in 2016. That’s because if the Steelers lose this game, their chance of a playoff berth becomes much more slim. This is the kind of loss that could propel the problems in Pittsburgh to eat the yellow and black’s season.
The Ravens have a lot to gain. The Steelers have a lot to lose. This is a huge game for the purple and black. Stay tuned to Ebony Bird. We’ll have you covered with the good, bad and ugly against the Steelers. One way or another, we’ll have a Ravens report card, and analysis that you need to sift through the everything in a game that will be filled with a lot of emotion.
