Ravens beat Steelers 26-14: The good, bad and the ugly
The Ugly:
Alex Collins fumbled near the end zone when the Ravens could have gone up 21-3. The Ravens wasted a big play from Flacco and Brown and ended up with a turnover instead of a touchdown. The only chance the Steelers had to make this a game, was gift wrapped by Collins, who was fighting for extra yards long after the play was doomed. It’s impossible to look at that moment and not get frustrated if you’re a Ravens fan. This game wasn’t easy, but it could have been.
The Ravens got almost nothing out of the punt return and kickoff return game. Tim White may not have made a big mistake, but he certainly didn’t get the Ravens any extra field position. The Steelers stopped White inside the 25 yard line too much. That’s pretty much all there is to complain about. It was another convincing win for the Ravens. Good teams don’t let this ugly portion get hard to get through.
This was another big win by the Baltimore Ravens. A win against the Steelers feels like three or five wins to the Ravens fanbase. This game meant a lot to the Ravens, who had lost three games to the Steelers in a row. There was a lot of good, a little bad and some ugly things from this game. In the end, the win is precious for Baltimore.
