The Bottom Line:
The Ravens had a nearly perfect day in Tennessee. The problems that plagued them a week ago, didn’t follow them to Tennessee. The worst thing that happened was Alex Lewis going down with an injury that had him carted off the field. That was a scary moment that you never want to see in football. We’ll keep you in the know but as of now we don’t know much.
The most encouraging part of the game is that the defense had another dominant performance. The Ravens defense didn’t let the Titans get going. This may have been the franchise’s best defensive performance since dominating the Giants in Super Bowl XXXV. Yeah, it was that good. The defense held the Titans to embarrassing numbers. They sacked Mariota eleven times.
The resurgence of Crabtree was a real bright spot. Crabtree had six receptions for 93 yards and a touchdown. Last week may have been the worst day of his career, and the veteran receiver came through big in this game. This might have been the Ravens best day running the football. Alex Collins and Gus Edwards were able to get the team’s rushing total hovering around 100 yards.
The Ravens broke a franchise record in Tennessee with 11 sacks. It was as good of a win, as the 21-0 score indicates.
