1. Joe Flacco

Joe Flacco has to play well in this game. The Ravens cannot survive a day where the offense stumbles around. The Saints offense is too good to completely stop them. Flacco is the most important player on the field. The Saints give up 28 points per game and have one of the worst pass defenses in the NFL. Flacco will be facing less resistance than Brees will, so Flacco has to out duel the future Hall of Famer.

Flacco has orchestrated some very long scoring drives this season. That needs to continue. Flacco has to go out there and win this game for the Ravens. He has to go onto the M&T Bank Stadium field, knowing that the Ravens need to drop 30 to win this game. He has to be the same quarterback who carved up the Steelers in Heinz Field. Flacco has to be clutch. Punts and turnovers are the last thing the Ravens need. Limiting the chances that Brees has is incredibly important.

At the end of the day, this is going to take a total team effort. The Ravens rushing attack is no longer what Baltimore relies on as the foundation to their offense. The offensive production is on the shoulders of Flacco. If he has a good day, chances are the Ravens will too.
