2. The Ravens hold the Saints under 30 points:

Don’t expect to see the Saints light up the scoreboard in this game. The Saints have scored 40 or more points three times this season and have only been held under 30 points once. The Ravens are going to give the Saints their second game without 30 points. The Ravens defense is really good. The Ravens lead the league in as many statistical categories as fingers you have on one of your hands. This is not the type of defense that is going to roll over for anybody.

When an immovable object meets an unstoppable force, both tend to bend a little bit. The Ravens defense will give up more than it wants to give up. The Saints offense will get less than it wants to get. The Saints may get the score in the 20’s, but the Ravens will show them much more resistance than they are used to seeing. The Saints lack of struggles may really hurt them in this game. They may not know how to deal with a frustrating day. The Ravens may have them searching for answers that they haven’t had to look for ever before.

The Ravens just got 11 sacks against the Titans, in a game where Tennessee crossed the 50 yard line just a few times. The Saints are a about 1,000 times better than the Titans, however the point still stands. The Ravens defense is doing things that just don’t happen in today’s NFL. The Saints are a good offense. The Ravens defense though, is on pace to be historically good.
