The Baltimore Ravens have a lot of concerns on the injury front ahead of their battle with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Baltimore Ravens have a lot to worry about in terms of the injury report. The biggest problem area will be up front for the Ravens offensive line. Ronnie Stanley and James Hurst are both listed as out for the game. Stanley being hurt feels like a potential kill shot for the Ravens. Stanley is a solid left tackle and the Ravens may not have a solid plan B with Hurst out.

Alex Lewis, who missed the last two games and is questionable, will likely be the Ravens stand in at left tackle. This creates a problem at left guard. This is a good time to remind you that Bradley Bozeman is also questionable for this game. The offensive line is having a rough week.

The Steelers defense has improved dramatically since the Ravens beat them 26-14. Pittsburgh still doesn’t have a dominant unit, however they rush the passer well. The Steelers are tied for second best in the NFL with 24 sacks. It would be a safe bet that Joe Flacco is going to take some hits. The offensive line hasn’t been doing a great job in run blocking, and it seems doubtful that this is the week where the running game comes to life.

Marlon Humphrey and Tony Jefferson are listed as questionable. It looks like both players will play on Sunday, but it’s something to keep an eye on. The defensive backs have a lot of work to do when it comes to stopping the Steelers incredible passing attack. C.J. Mosley is also questionable. To top off the roll of questionable listed players is Alex Collins.

Not only do the Ravens come into the game on the crushing blow of two straight losses, including a pride flattening loss to the Carolina Panthers, but it really feels like the team is limping into this game. Injuries are a concern every week but this week there is more to worry about. Baltimore has it’s biggest game of the year and two of their offensive linemen are out and plenty of other players are not exactly at 100 percent.

Injuries are going to have a huge impact for the Ravens, but it’s also a problem area for the Steelers. The Steelers offensive tackle Marcus Gilbert is doubtful to play in this game. Artie Burns and Coty Sensabaugh are both cornerbacks who are listed as questionable. The Steelers injury report isn’t nearly as extensive as that of the Ravens though. In a game the Ravens are desperate to pull out, overcoming injuries will be a challenge.
