The Ugly:

The Ravens got gashed for much of this game. Any problems the Steelers offense had in the first two quarters of this game were brought on by their own doing. Baltimore had no answers in the beginning of this divisional battle. Roethlisberger got into a rhythm early and it became a game of pitch and catch, a game of keep away from a unwitting Ravens defense. When the Ravens were down 14-3, it had to be in the back of every Ravens fan’s head, that this was going to be a bad day.

I want everybody to go the NFL.com and look at the box score for this game, because there are some numbers you have to see to believe. Did you know that the Steelers were successful on 62% of their third downs? The Steelers had the ball for about 13 minutes more of the game clock than the purple and black. There’s no nice way to say it, the Ravens got their butts kicked. They got stomped, in their own stadium.

Next. Ravens do the same old song and dance, lose to Steelers. dark

The Ravens allowed over 100 yards on the ground to James Connor. Ben Roethlisberger was so efficient it looked like a walk through at times. The ugliest part of this game wasn’t measurable by stats. It wasn’t the scoreboard that was so hard to look at. It was the idea that the glorious win the Ravens had in Pittsburgh earlier this season was basically erased. Pittsburgh got revenge and basically showed why they are about to win the division yet again. The Ravens played losing football and the score didn’t reflect how bad it was.
