With the rumors continuing to heat up that Head Coach John Harbaugh will be fired following the 2018 season, we take a look at potential replacements.
It seems strange. John Harbaugh has been the team’s longest tenured Head Coach and has a Super Bowl championship attached to his resume. Yet, fans are so quick to forget about the success he’s had with the Ravens and have been calling for his job for a couple seasons now. It’s unfortunate, however we can admit that Harbaugh’s leash has been incredibly long. It’s getting close to time to cut ties with him.
No matter how the 2018 season ends, Baltimore needs to seriously consider moving on from Head Coach John Harbaugh. The team is seemingly at peace with this thought and it’s time to start looking at candidates to replace him.
Who should the Ravens target? Harbaugh was a special teams minded coach, so the team could lean either way when deciding to go with an offensive or defensive minded candidate. While one would think offense would be the right way to go, perhaps getting a defensive guru to go with this defense would be more beneficial. Maybe the team sticks with what they know?
Whatever the team’s decision is, we’re here to discuss some potential replacements for John Harbaugh as the Baltimore Ravens next Head Coach, should he be fired. Some of the options are more realistic than others, while some are so enticing that it keeps you up at night. Let’s take a look at who Ravens Flock should look forward to perhaps taking over as the next Head Coach for Baltimore.
