The Baltimore Ravens earned their third-straight victory on the road against the Atlanta Falcons this week. It’s now time to hand out three game balls.

Tavon Young:

Talk about a heck of a comeback tour, Tavon Young has wasted no time in 2018 reminding us all why Ravens Flock was so excited over the former Temple University alum. Young has had a spectacular season, and Sunday against the Falcons was no different. While Young didn’t record any tackles or pass-breakups, he did have the most crucial touchdown of the game.

With pressure sent up the middle late in the fourth quarter, linebacker Patrick Onwuasor came straight up the gut and recorded a strip sack of Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan. Tavon Young was quick to snag the ball and returned it 12-yards the other way for a game-sealing Baltimore Ravens touchdown. Baltimore gained a commanding 26-10 lead over Atlanta and would wind up getting a crucial win to extend their playoff hopes.

A 19-10 lead in the fourth quarter gave the Ravens a two possession lead, but it never felt secured. Following Tavon Young’s show-stopping scoop-and-score, the game then seemingly became out-of-reach for Atlanta. It’s that kind of big-play that makes Young completely deserving of one of our game balls.
