3. Control the clock:

The high-powered Atlanta Falcons offense we’ve been discussing throughout this article can only be stopped by keeping them off the field. The Ravens defense can only do so much in this game, so the offense needs to pull its weight.

This doesn’t mean the team needs a touchdown on every single drive. Quick strikes offensively can happen, but having and sustaining long drives will be crucial for Baltimore’s chances. 8-10 play drives and chewing up 5+ minutes at a time might be entirely what it takes for the Ravens to pull out a victory.

The best way to do this will be to establish the team’s run game early on. The last two weeks have seen Baltimore’s rushing-attack blossom into something deadly. Between Lamar Jackson’s legs and Gus Edwards punishing running-style, opposing defenses are being outmatched on a weekly basis. This combo needs to show up once again vs. the Falcons, considering this seems to be the offense’s new found (and successful) identity.

So long as the Ravens offense can keep the Falcons offense on the sidelines, Baltimore’s chances for a win will skyrocket. Combine this with the other tasks we mentioned, and victory is practically assured. The Atlanta Falcons are a very beatable team, but only if the Ravens walk into this game with the attitude and edge they’ve had the last two weeks.
