The Ugly:

The conditions of the field at Stub Hub Center qualifies as ugly. There were slips that made a big impact in the game. One of the biggest ways it affected the game is Justin Tucker’s missed field goal. Tucker slipped and the ball went way off target. However the Ravens created many of their own problems. Jackson had another fumble that ruined the drive that ended with that Tucker miss.

When Kenneth Dixon fumbled at the beginning of the second half, it was about as bad of a mistake as the Ravens could have had. While the Ravens handling of this situation ends up in the good category, Dixon’s mistake was a potential game changer. Dixon was fighting for extra yards, but there is no excuse that makes that fumble okay.

When the Ravens had a 16-10 lead, they put a ton of pressure on their defense. A few first downs would have been all she wrote, but the Ravens went three and out. They put a ton of pressure on their defense. The defense stepped up to the plate but that was a tense moment in the game.
