The Baltimore Ravens are AFC North Champions. Here is a look at the good, bad and the ugly from the most dramatic season finale imaginable. We start with the good.

The Ravens got the result they were looking for. For the most part, their formula continued to work in this game. They played aggressive defense and got a lead with an incredible running game. The Ravens rushed for over 200 yards. Lamar Jackson scored two touchdowns on the ground. Kenneth Dixon and Gus Edwards took turns having huge runs. Dixon had 117 yards. Any day where you average over nine yards a carry is a good one. Jimmy Smith had two interceptions and the pass rush gave Baker Mayfield all he could handle. Three interceptions played a gigantic part in the Ravens win.

The Browns did everything they could to stop the Ravens rushing attack and they still got gashed. Mark Andrews had another big day, He had four catches for 54 yards. Hayden Hurst had what you could argue was a signature moment with a 32 yard game. Willie Snead had a 25 yard reception. While Jackson only had 14 completed passes, most of them where huge for the purple and black.

The Ravens got absolutely no help in this game from the officials, other than a quick whistle on Lamar Jackson’s goal line fumble. Just about every call went the Browns way. It would have been easy for a team that has lost their playoff spot two years in a row because of late game mishaps to cave. John Harbaugh’s team was put in a very tough spot and they pulled it out. If the Ravens go on a run, this may be a tougher game then some of their playoff games. Baltimore had to get over the hurdle eventually, getting into the postseason is the Ravens conquering one of their demons.
