Prediction Time: Who wins?

The Patriots have been here before. There aren’t too many players on their roster who don’t have Super Bowl experience and Bill Belichick had two weeks to prepare. That is a major advantage for New England. The match up kind of favors the Los Angeles Rams though. This reminds me of the Super Bowls New England had against the New York Giants. The Rams defensive line is going to take the game over the same way that the Giants did in their two upsets over the Patriots. Many things have changed since those Super Bowls but Tom Brady still struggles with pressure right up the middle from a defensive line.

Will Brady have an impressive stat line? Sure, he’s Tom Brady. The thing is it only takes one or two big plays from an Aaron Donald or an Ndamukong Suh to change the outcome of this game. Todd Gurley had a rather pedestrian NFC Championship game and the Rams still scraped by the New Orleans Saints (with a little help). I don’t see Todd Gurley being bottled up for two consecutive playoff games. I think the Rams will come out running the ball, to settle Jared Goff into the game. Gurley and Anderson could have a big day against the Patriots. Sean McVay is a great play-caller and he’ll dial up the right plays on Sunday.

Give me the Rams. I think they frustrate Brady and their offense is too hot for the Patriots to handle. The Patriots will make it one heck of a back and forth fight, but I’m going Rams 28-Patriots 24.
