Build the interior of the offensive line:

The biggest weakness of the Baltimore Ravens in 2018 was the play of the interior of the team’s offensive line. Marshal Yanda continued his Hall of Fame level of play, so naturally he gets a pass. The rest of the unit needs to take a deep look in the mirror and figure out what they need to do to improve.

Both the Los Angeles Rams and the New England Patriots boast great offensive lines while also possessing elite interior linemen. Big news here: You need above average offensive line play to win games, which is precisely why these teams are playing in Super Bowl LIII. Color me shocked.

The Patriots stand out the most here, as their interior line play should make teams envious. Shaq Mason is the most underappreciated offensive linemen in the NFL and is deserving of recognition as being on the league’s top offensive guards. His teammates, David Andrews (center) and Joe Thuney (guard), turn the Patriots interior into one of the best units in the entire league.

The Rams have another overlooked talent in guard Roger Saffold. Saffold has long been an underrated player in the NFL and is one of the main catalysts for the Rams successful rushing attack. Next to him are John Sullivan (center) and Austin Blythe (guard), the latter of whom is also criminally underrated. Between LA’s two elite guards and the solid veteran play of Sullivan, the Rams also possess a remarkable interior offensive line.

The Baltimore Ravens need significantly improved offensive line play from their interior men. The Rams and the Patriots have a perfect blueprint on how to acquire such talents, and Baltimore would be wise to fix this ASAP.
