Bleacher Report:

Matt Miller- NFL Draft Lead Writer

The pick- D.K. Metcalf

"One of the keys to helping a quarterback without great accuracy is to give him speed to stretch the field vertically or size with an extended catch radius. Metcalf (6’4″, 230 lbs) will give Lamar Jackson that big, long target he needs on the outside to haul in passes that might not hit the mark. —Matt Miller"

Finally, a different wide receiver is mocked to the Baltimore Ravens in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft! Thank you, Matt Miller!

Metcalf just needs his medicals to checkout at the combine regarding his neck, and the top wide receiver spot in the 2019 NFL Draft is his for the taking. Metcalf’s teammate, A.J. Brown, may have stolen the headlines all off-season prior to 2018, but Metcalf was far-and-away the more impressive player. Size, speed, hands, explosiveness… you name it, and Metcalf has it. The Ravens can’t go wrong either way with Metcalf or N’Keal Harry.
