SB Nation:

Dan Kadar-NFL Draft Editor

The pick- Josh Jacobs, RB, Alabama

"There are a few teams in the back half of the first round that could be targeting Jacobs. The Ravens could be the first one if they don’t see Gus Edwards or Kenneth Dixon as lead backs. Jacobs is a strong but agile runner who is hard to bring down. —Dan Kadar"

Spoiler alert: This is the only pick mocked to the Baltimore Ravens that was not a wide receiver. But, of course, it had to…

a) be an offensive player,

b) be a running back,

c) be and Alabama player

Regardless of that, sign me up for taking Josh Jacobs in round one of the 2019 NFL Draft.

Jacobs has been talked about as the top running back prospect in the 2019 NFL Draft, and is considered a superior player than his teammate, Damien Harris. Jacobs is certainly more explosive, as he has some Alvin Kamara traits to him. Having that kind of piece on offense is exciting, and Jacobs and Lamar Jackson would mesh well with each other. Dan Kadar thinks he could be the team’s top running back, and it’s hard to disagree with him.
