4. Damien Harris (Alabama)

Running backs from Alabama can go either way. They’re either productive players like Mark Ingram or Derick Henry, or they are busts like Trent Richardson. Harris is a very appealing running back prospect from Alabama because when he finds a rushing lane he can take it to the house. Harris is one of the more explosive backs in this draft class and his production shows that. He averaged 6.4 yards per carry for his Alabama career. He had a bunch of big plays.

Harris’s upside sees him as a faster Ray Rice while his floor is a 3rd down running back. His numbers dipped a bit in his final season with the Crimson Tide. Harris is a good athlete who may not be a power back, but he’s not going down to an arm tackle. Harris is a player the Ravens could probably target in the third or fourth round. With Bryce Love’s injury concerns, Montgomery, Singletary and Snell Jr. are the three backs who are above the rest of the pack. Harris is that next guy though, and he has the ability to make big plays.

Harris is a player the Ravens should keep their eyes on. He should be a decent player and he has the potential to be a breakout star in the NFL.
