Trayveon Williams:

Trayveon Williams was once seen as a future NFL stud after a remarkable freshman year before having a significantly down season in 2017 as a sophomore. While Williams remains overlooked, his junior season was quietly one of the best of any running back in the nation.

Williams secured First-Team All-SEC and Second-Team All-American honors after having a historically dominant 2018 season for the Texas A&M Aggies. Williams would rush for 1,760-yards and scored 18 touchdowns on the ground. Even through the air Williams was effective, grabbing 27 receptions for 278-yards and an additional touchdown. Williams rushing yards and scrimmage yards (2,038) both set school records.

The Baltimore Ravens would love to add someone of Williams’ caliber to their offense. After all, everything about Williams play on-the-field screams Ray Rice. Similar builds and style of play will have Ravens fans gushing about the young man all off-season. Come time for the start of the season, Williams may be the team’s most versatile running back. Alex Collins and Gus Edwards are fine, but neither possess the ceiling that Williams has.

Of all the running backs on this list, the potential combination of Trayveon Williams and Lamar Jackson should get us the most excited. These two young men can be cornerstones on offense and become the difference makers that separate them from the rest of the league’s best QB/RB duos. With any luck, the Ravens will have Williams high on their draft board.
