Antonio Brown:

Antonio Brown is in the same category as Le’Veon Bell, in that when he’s on the field he’s arguably the most talented wide receiver in the NFL. Brown’s shorter stature at 5’10” 181-lbs. hasn’t stopped him from Moss-ing opposing defenders and making highlight reel plays on a weekly basis. Brown is a showstopper in all the right ways when the ball is in his hands.

Simply put, he does it all. Brown is a reception beast, with 100+ receptions in six-straight seasons and has the soft-hands to justify a high-volume of targets. Brown is also electric after the catch and can take any play to the house at any given moment. And best of all, all he does is score touchdowns. Despite missing a game in 2018, Brown still led the league in touchdown receptions with 15.

All of this is a welcome addition to Charm City, as the wide receiver spot has never been anything exemplary. In fact, Brown’s presence on the depth chart would be a sight for sore eyes, to say the least. Suddenly, the Baltimore Ravens rushing attack is more potent because of a certain wide receiver who can beat you at any time lining up outside. Brown would be the safety net for Lamar Jackson that he could grow and develop with for a few years.

There’s just one, tiny little catch: Antonio Brown is a locker room cancer.

Brown has long been deemed a “diva” by the media, his teammates, and other players, but it’s starting to get out of hand. Honestly, it started to get out of hand a while ago. By this point, AB is just a circus looking to find a new home to terrorize with his impulsiveness. Brown was once thought of as a good teammate, but now it seems like Pittsburgh can’t wait for him to leave. My, my how things change.

A lot of teams will overlook Brown’s issues and justify them with his skills. The Baltimore Ravens could be one of those teams, as the desperation at the wide receiver position is getting grotesque. However, the Ravens host a strong locker room, and it’s hard to see Brown meshing with the group, if they’d even give him the time of day…
