The Baltimore Ravens help the offense and fill needs in this full mock draft:

The Baltimore Ravens have a lot of work to do in the NFL Draft. The calendar has finally flipped to April which means we are now only 25 days away from the 2019 NFL Draft. The free agency frenzy has settled down and it is now time for the highlight of every NFL off-season. The Ravens had a very successful draft last year which helped propel them to a division title. They have many key positions set in place, however, this is still a very important one for the team to get right for a few reasons.

One, this Eric DeCosta’s first time having full control in the war-room for the Ravens. He had his say as Ozzie’s right hand man for years but ultimately it was Ozzie’s call when it came it picking the newest Ravens. Now with a solid first Draft, DeCosta can set the tone for his tenure as GM. He has a chance to build off last year’s playoff season while building a contender for years to come.

More from Ravens Draft

The other reason why this draft is important is it’s a new era of Ravens football. Gone are veteran leaders Terrell Suggs, C.J. Mosley, Joe Flacco and Eric Weddle. Lamar Jackson is now the face of the franchise and new safety Earl Thomas is the new leader of the team. This draft gives the Ravens an opportunity to build an offense around Jackson’s unique skill-set and re-load the top-ranked defense that lost some key contributors in free agency.

As of right now the Ravens hold 8 picks. Without a 2nd round pick, there is very good chance they might trade-back in the 1st round from 22nd overall to re-coup more draft capital on day two and three. For this mock draft though, I’ll just be selecting with the picks they have currently. Let the mock draft season begin.
