Baltimore Ravens Draft Preview:

The Ravens are drafting to start something completely new. Lamar Jackson is their quarterback and other than tight end and offensive tackle there is no position that the Ravens have really locked down around Jackson. The Ravens added Mark Ingram and Seth Roberts in free agency but the offense still needs play-makers in a big way. The inside of the offensive line is a huge need and that is where the most value could be at the 22nd overall pick.

Losing C.J. Mosley, Terrell Suggs and Za’Darius Smith leaves the Ravens in a better spot defensively than it sounds. Earl Thomas coming in gives Baltimore a scary good secondary and they have plenty of talent still in the front seven. An edge rusher has become something the team needs but the defense is close to complete.

Ravens Draft Position: 22nd overall pick

Draft Needs:

  • Offensive Line
  • Wide Receiver
  • Pass Rusher

At offensive line the Ravens could be looking at players like Garrett Bradbury or Cody Ford at the 22nd overall pick. Clelin Ferrell or Brian Burns will probably be the best pass rusher available at this point in the draft. Ferrell is an especially good fit for Baltimore. There are plenty of wide receivers in this draft. Kelvin Harmon may be the most underrated option for the Ravens this year while N’Keal Harry has been the most talked about option.
