The Baltimore Ravens need to get more pass rushers and the 2019 NFL Draft is a chance to do that:

The Baltimore Ravens have the 22nd overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. When will the Ravens go after a pass rusher? To understand their potential decisions you have to understand what is on the board in terms of pass rushers. Here is a preview of the draft for edge rushers:

Top Tier: The Unreachable’s

  • Nick Bosa (Ohio State)
  • Josh Allen (Kentucky)
  • Montez Sweat (Miss St)

These three players are all arguably top five prospects. Nick Bosa is the perfect combination of size, speed and power off the edge. He looks like he could be even better than his brother, Joey Bosa. Allen is a versatile player who can play any linebacker spot in a 3-4 defense. As an outside linebacker he will be one of the best athletes on the field and will give you pass rush and cover skills.

Sweat is a player who has all the things you can’t coach. He’s got an incredible build and is explosive as it gets. This is a player who has the physical ability to make offensive tackles miserable. With the right coaching he could become one of the best defensive players in the year but he has a high floor. That’s because his pass rushing prowess is going to help him be productive right away.

This is the best group of pass rushers coming out of the NFL Draft for a while. These are the cream of the crop. If these players aren’t taken in the top 10 it would be weird. Edge rushers have become a premium position in the NFL and these players are instant impact prospects at that position.
