Riley Ridley (Georgia)

If the Ravens wanted a more well-rounded wide receiver to target in the 3rd round, Hardman’s Bulldog teammate, Riley Ridley would be that guy. He might not have the speed or upside of his older brother, Atlanta Falcons receiver Calvin Ridley does, but Riley would give the Ravens a fairly safe possession receiver.  His strong hands and route running ability are Ridley’s best two traits. Ridley only has average speed but he creates separation by running very smooth routes. Also, at 6’1″ 200 pounds he has a solid frame and catch radius.

Ridley put up modest numbers in his only year as a true starter at Georgia in 2018, hauling in 43 receptions for 559 and 9 touchdowns. However, I think he has the tools to be a much more productive NFL player than college one.  If the Ravens go another position with their first pick, a dream scenario for them could be double dipping on both of these Georgia wide receivers in the 3rd round. Pairing Ridley and Hardman back together would give the Ravens offense a nice mix of possession skills and speed.
