Potential back end of the first round players

  • Chris Lindstrom G, (Boston College)
  • Erik McCoy, C (Texas A&M)
  • Andre Dillard OT (WSU)
  • Elgton Jenkins, C (Miss State)

If the Ravens trade back in the first round, Chris Lindstrom and Erik McCoy are likely targets. It would be a hard sell to take them with the 22nd overall pick, but they would be great fits for the Ravens. Lindstrom is actually the player that is most suited to the Ravens offense. The Ravens want to run the ball and they need athletic linemen like Lindstrom. There isn’t a block Lindstrom can’t reach, he’s a great pulling guard and he gets to the second level better than anyone. Ravens fans have to keep their eye on him.

Elgton Jenkins is a physically imposing center who is one of the most powerful run blockers in this draft class. Andre Dillard is a potential first rounder whose big question mark is his ability to run block. Dillard is a good pass blocker and because of that he could end up as a first round pick. Tonight we’ll see how the NFL decision makers are going to look at Dillard. He’s an x-factor in this draft because he could go early or he could go on day 2.
