Chris Moore

Because of his special teams ability, Chris Moore is always going to find himself on the roster. This was shaping up to be the year where he finally stepped up and got more than that for himself. The Ravens drafted two receivers in the first three rounds in Marquise Brown and Miles Boykin. The Ravens also added Antoine Wesley and Jaylen Smith as undrafted free agents. It seems safe to say that Jordan Lasley and Jaleel Scott are all but gone. Chris Moore will stay, but possibly in the position he’s always been in.

The starting three receivers based on talent can be projected as Marquise Brown, Miles Boykin and Willie Snead. Chris Moore will be fighting for the fourth spot with Seth Roberts and maybe even Wesley. Moore knew that Eric DeCosta would add to the receiving group, but he couldn’t have been pleased to see the extent that DeCosta went to do it. DeCosta sent a statement in the draft. The Ravens will now have a completely different outlook at wide receiver. This makes Moore’s breakout season much less of a promise.

The Ravens draft efforts were a good thing overall. The team got better, especially on the offensive side of the football. Lamar Jackson should be thrilled right now. Moore knows his mission to become one of Jackson’s go to weapons just got tougher.
