Front-seven reinforcements:

The Baltimore Ravens still need to find themselves some suitable replacements for guys like C.J. Mosley, whom they lost in 2019 via Free Agency. Additionally, the team could opt to move on from Brandon Williams after 2019 due to his sizable cap hit and age, and teammate Michael Pierce is a Unrestricted Free Agent. The 2020 NFL Draft isn’t like its predecessor when it comes to top-end depth on defense, but the cream of the crop 2020 possesses is special.

On the defensive line, two potential first rounders for the 2019 NFL Draft opted to return to college for one more season of tape. Alabama’s Raekwon Davis and Auburn’s Derrick Brown could’ve been top 32 picks for 2019, but now they could be top-ten selections for the 2020 NFL Draft. Both sit near the top of the chart for defensive linemen entering 2019, and both could find themselves still there by the end of the process. It would also be surprising if either of them weren’t attending the Senior Bowl next year.

The last time Baltimore drafted an Alabama linebacker wearing #32 it worked out pretty well. Now, Alabama has another top-tier talent in Dylan Moses. Anyone who liked Devin Bush this past season will love Moses, who plays just as hard but has a different body-type at 6’3″ 233-lbs. Moses is long and smart with elite instincts and athleticism. Moses may not be the next C.J. Mosley, but he could still be the top linebacker for the 2020 NFL Draft.

As far as edge rushers go, Ohio State’s Chase Young is the man to beat, but it’s unlikely the Ravens will be drafting in his range (top-three picks). Instead, Alabama’s Terrell Lewis and Iowa’s A.J. Epenesa could be in play. Lewis is a player I covered once before as someone who could entice Baltimore, but Epenesa could wind up being a top-five pick based off his increasing production and unreal ceiling.

Other names to watch: Rashard Lawrence (DL LSU), Paddy Fisher (LB, Northwestern), Kenneth Murray (LB, Oklahoma),Anfernee Jennings (EDGE, Alabama), K’Lavon Chaisson (EDGE, LSU)
