2. Become a more complete player at the tight end position:

The Ravens have Nick Boyle as their mainly blocking tight end. Andrews is the player they like to flex out into the slot. He’s basically a big bodied slot receiver, who draws favorable match ups against a lot of defensive looks. Hayden Hurst is the tight end who is a do it all kind of player. The trio of tight ends have their respective jobs for the offense. Andrews should shoot to be the most complete tight end of the trio. His goal should be to be the best of everything a tight end can be.

Andrews should work on becoming a more convincing blocker. He should work at his craft in a way that he is the best tight end for every circumstance. Andrews can only focus on what he brings to the table and by the end of the season, he should be able to say that he brings every skill a tight end should have. The Ravens are going to be a tight end heavy offense. Hurst and Boyle aren’t going anywhere. Andrews job is to make himself the one tight end that Greg Roman always wants on the field. Andrews has to make himself invaluable and indefensible in every situation.

This goal isn’t a knock on Andrews. He was a decent blocker in his rookie season and he’s on his way to a being a great tight end. This is goal would serve as an acknowledgment that Andrews is a young player who still has to master his position.
