Goal number 2: Be the best player on the defense

The Baltimore Ravens plan on having a great defense. Judon should strive to be the best player on the defensive unit. When the Ravens lost Terrell Suggs, C.J. Mosley and Eric Weddle, they lost big name players who had a big presence. Judon has played with some amazing players in his time with the Ravens but it could be his time to be the top player on the field. The Ravens want to win with defense being the main ingredient. On a defense that has Marlon Humphrey, Earl Thomas, Tony Jefferson and Brandon Williams (just to name a few) being the best player on the field would make Judon the most valuable player of the Ravens.

With two veteran outside linebackers out of the picture, this is the time for Judon to step up. This is an opportunity to show that Judon is one of the core players on this franchise. This is his chance to be a Raven for life. Many good defensive players have come and gone in Baltimore but they keep the building blocks of the franchise. Suggs stayed in with the purple and black from 2003-2018. If Judon takes the step up, and becomes the leader of a great defense, Eric DeCosta will prioritize a long-term deal with him.

This is Judon’s chance to show that he is a true difference maker. He always had a lot of help being a part of a sure handed pass rushing rotation. Now he is the number one outside linebacker on the roster. This is his chance to prove that he is the next great outside linebacker in Ravens history. His goal should be to elevate his game to a Suggs worthy standard.
